My name is Chris, and I am the maker of Web3Sports. I currently play baseball for UBC Bantam Thunder in BCPBL and I participate in hackathons, most recently Hack the North, a top-ranked hackathon hosted by the University of Waterloo. As a passionate baseball player and technology enthusiast, I wanted to create something that combined my two greatest interests: sports and computer science. Web3Sports was born from a vision to revolutionize athlete performance tracking through real-time data analytics, AI-driven insights, and blockchain technology. My goal is to build a tool that not only enhances training and game-time decision-making but is also something I can personally use to improve my own performance—along with my teammates.
